DDR Quick Results Hilltop - IRS & KC - Lucas

Doug Drown started his USA racing campaign last weekend with two races one at KC Raceway on the 12th April for the Lucas Oil Series and followed that up with an appearance at Hilltop on April 18th for an IRS show.

At KC we suffered electrical problems while travelling in 12th position and again had a fast cars but suffered bad luck, looking forward to moving onto the next round of races.

At Hilltop Doug won his Heat and Dash, he then started on pole in the A Main and shuffled back to 9th at one point in the early stages, Doug Commented " I was avoiding cars & wrecks and it was very difficult given the very rough & fast surface at Hilltop, I was preserving the #12 Wooster Glass Rocket to make sure I was there at the end of the race as it was my first outing this season where we finished 4th.

We are a bit behind our season plans at the moment with some off season dramas on & off the track but we will be looking to step things up in the near future, we are still searching for some extra sponsors to come on board so we can travel to the big money shows where I feel we can be very competitive in the #12 machine"
